Tiberius Iulius Celsus Polemaeanus, Τιβέριος Ιούλιος Κέλσος Πολεμαιανός en griego antiguo, conocido también bajo el nombre de Celso, fue un antiguo ciudadano grecorromano. Nació hacia el año 45 y murió antes del 120, fue senador romano· y sirvió como cónsul romano en el 92 y procónsul de Asia Menor alrededor del 105-106. Celso Polemaeno fue un ciudadano rico y popular benefactor de Éfeso. Sus restos reposaron en un sarcófago debajo de la célebre Biblioteca de Celso, la cual fue constribuida como un mausoleo en su honor por su hijo Tiberius Iulius Aquila Polemaeanus.

Erhan Tabakoğlu is a Turkish professor of medicine at Trakya University. He was elected as the new rector of the university on 12 July 2016 by a majority vote, and at the end of July the election was confirmed. He defeated the incumbent rector Yener Yörük, who was also a candidate. In 2020, Tabakoglu was confirmed as rector for a second term until 2024. He is of Albanian origin.
