Li Shiji, nombre de cortesía Maogong, conocido póstumamente como duque Zhenwu de Ying, fue un general chino que vivió en la dinastía Tang. Su apellido original era Xú, pero más tarde el emperador Gaozu, el emperador fundador de la dinastía Tang, le dio el apellido del clan imperial de Tang, Li. Más tarde, durante el reinado del emperador Gaozong, Li Shiji fue conocido como Li Ji para evitar nombrar tabú porque el nombre personal del predecesor del emperador Gaozong, el emperador Taizong, tenía el mismo carácter chino "Shi".
