Mohamed Aboutrika
Mohamed Mohamed Mohamed Aboutrika es un exfutbolista egipcio que jugaba de mediocampista ofensivo para el Al-Ahly egipcio. Luego de ocurrida la Tragedia de Puerto Saíd, Aboutrika, junto con otros dos jugadores, anunció que se retiraría del fútbol profesional. No obstante, regresó a las canchas luego de ser llamado a sus selección por el entrenador Bob Bradley, el 26 de marzo de 2012.
Mohamed Henedi
Mohamed Henedi Ahmed Abdel Gawad is an Egyptian comedian actor born in Giza, Egypt, on 1 February 1965, and has gained a cinematic bachelor's degree. Henedi started his career in 1991 in short appearances in theaters and cinemas, and he achieved huge success in his two films Esma'eleya Rayeh Gaii and Sa'ede Fel Gam'a Al Amrekya. He later starred in the movies Hamam fi Amsterdam, Belya we Demagho el Alya, Saheb Sahbo and Andaleeb Al Dokki. Mohamed Henedi also dubbed the voices of Timon, Mike Wazowski and Homer Simpson for the Egyptian versions of The Lion King, Monsters, Inc., and The Simpsons respectively.

Karim Hossam is an Egyptian banned former professional tennis player. Hossam had a career-high ATP singles ranking of 337 achieved in September 2013. Hossam won 4 ITF events on the Futures circuit. He made his ATP main draw debut at the 2014 Qatar ExxonMobil Open, losing to the 5th seed Richard Gasquet 5–7, 1–6 in the first round. Hossam was banned from tennis for life and was fined $15,000 on 3 July 2018 for multiple match-fixing offences, after being found guilty on 16 corruption charges relating to offenses from 2013 to 2017 at ITF Futures tournaments. His younger brother Youssef Hossam was likewise banned from tennis for life, two years later, after he similarly was found guilty of 21 match-fixing and other corruption offences.

Shams Al Din Badran was an Egyptian government official. He served as minister of defence of Egypt during Gamal Abdel Nasser's era and the unsuccessful Six-Day War of 1967. He was removed from his post during the war and later imprisoned. After his release he married a British woman and lived in "self-imposed exile" in the United Kingdom.
