Ernst Tengelmann was a German entrepreneur. From 1912 he was Director-General of the Essener Steinkohlenbergwerke AG and CEO of Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG. In addition to Carl Hold and Gustav Knepper he was one of the most influential mining figures in 1930s Ruhr Valley.

Karl Otto Robert Peter Paul Graebner fue un botánico alemán. Desarrolló actividades académicas como asistente en 1895, y en 1904 fue curador en el jardín botánico Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum Berlín-Dahlem, y en 1910 profesor. Contribuyó en gran medida durante la construcción del nuevo jardín botánico de Berlín-Dahlem. Fue florista y fitogeógrafo.

Fritz Steinhoff was a German politician of the SPD. He was the third Minister President of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1956 until 1958.
