Kim Yaroshevskaya is a Russian-born Canadian film, television and stage actress. Best known to audiences in Quebec as a children's entertainer, starring in series such as Fanfreluche and Passe-Partout in the 1970s, she also had a starring role in the English Canadian drama series Home Fires in the early 1980s.

Chiang Chen
Dr. Chiang Chen GBM, OBE is a Hong Kong industrialist who is the founder and chairman of the Chen Hsong Holdings Limited since 1958. As a pro-Beijing entrepreneur, Chiang maintained good relations with the Chinese government, and was appointed as a Hong Kong affair advisor. He was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal, the highest award under the Hong Kong honours and awards system on 1 July 2005 for his contributions in Hong Kong's industry. The Chaing Chen Studio Theatre in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was also named after him.

Jean Cluzel was a French politician who was renowned in the 1980s for his reports about the audiovisual media. He was born in Moulins, Allier, France in November 1923. Cluzel served as a senator, and was a member of the Académie des sciences morales et politiques.

Hansō Sōshitsu
Sen Sōshitsu XV (十五代千宗室) refers to the 15th generation head (iemoto) of Urasenke, one of the most widely known schools of Japanese tea. Hōunsai (鵬雲斎) was a religious appellation that he received in 1949 from his Zen mentor, and it is the name that he generally is known by to distinguish him as the 15th Sen Sōshitsu. His son succeeded him as the 16th generation head of Urasenke, and inherited the name Sōshitsu, in December 2002. With that, Sen Sōshitsu XV discontinued his own use of the name Sōshitsu. He adopted the name Genshitsu (玄室) to use instead, and thus has officially gone by the name Sen Genshitsu since then.

Sugiura Shigemine
Sugiura Shigemine was a Japanese fighter pilot in World War II who is now recognised in Taiwan as the deity Feihu Jiangjun, or "General Flying Tiger." Sugiura was born in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, on 9 November 1923. As a youth he joined a pilot training program at the Imperial Navy's Kasumigaura Air Base, where he learned the basics of flying. After graduating he was sent to Taiwan for advanced training.
